Does anybody have a step by step instruction on how to switch the shift pattern?

If I remember correctly ( I read it somewhere), all you need is a shift lever off of a vfr and you take off the linkage off of you peg assy. and you're done. If I remember where I got that info, I'll let ya know.....but it's pretty simple.

Depends on which year 900 you have. My 99, all you need to do is take the shift linkage off of the tranny stud and rotate it 180* and put it back on. You will notice though that the shift rod going back to the lever will hit the frame, so you have two options. 1. You bend the rod around the frame. 2. You install a 929 shifter linkage to the end of the rod on the tranny lug side and it moves the rod out just enough to clear the frame. (This is what I did)

Laters.
