SpiritRR, I agree about the colors, but I think a big part of it was moving away from the white wheels in '94. Although MUCH easer to keep clean, the black wheels just don't have the same impact on that bike as the white ones do.
+1 on this. I had a '94 in those colors and put white wheels on it. It looked like a completely different bike. I started getting compliments on it after I did that and most people didn't even notice what was different about it.

I'm sure that guy doesn't exactly have people beating down his door to buy that bike but I could see someone paying that much. Figuring that the average person that bought the early double r's new is now in their mid to late 30's, it's likely they have more disposable income than they did at the time they sold them. I could imagine someone who owned that exact bike back in the day paying a little "too much" and not really caring because he's getting a nice clean example of his original ride.
Jeff1980, it sounds like you hit the nail on the head! LOL!! Here is a picture of my '94 with white wheels. The white transforms the bike, IMO.

Awesome that you picked up on that! One of the first forums I ever joined already had the correct spelling (Scut Farkus) taken, so I changed it up a little and it stuck. Getting to be that time of the year to dust off the DVD and watch again.

"Scut Farkus! What a rotten name! There he stood, between us and the alley. Scut Farkus staring out at us with his yellow eyes. He had yellow eyes! So, help me, God! Yellow eyes!" LOL!!!

I knew he was in one of the Evil movies but I didn't know he was in Titus.
