I am amazed that the bike is still stock and under 7,000 miles!
Awesome! I actually agree with txn driver, it is worth the price!
If it truly is mint inside and out! I can't imagine the motor can be that smooth is it's only been driven that little for all these many years.

SpiritRR, I agree about the colors, but I think a big part of it was moving away from the white wheels in '94. Although MUCH easer to keep clean, the black wheels just don't have the same impact on that bike as the white ones do.

I'm sure that guy doesn't exactly have people beating down his door to buy that bike but I could see someone paying that much. Figuring that the average person that bought the early double r's new is now in their mid to late 30's, it's likely they have more disposable income than they did at the time they sold them. I could imagine someone who owned that exact bike back in the day paying a little"too much" and not really caring because he's getting a nice clean example of his original ride.
