Hi guys..I have a small problem with my bike ... I recently cleaned the carbs when I first purchase the bike..it was sitting for two years it runs now, but it backfire at idle...I'm not sure how to correct the problem...add more fuel???

year of bike?
what are you using for fuel?
have you changed the air filter??
what else has been done to the bike???
anything you can think of!!! and we'll go from there..

98 ...pump gas 91 octane..clean K&N filter.new plugs TBR slip-on... I just got a jet kit for it today...while I was setting the idle jet screws I decided to removed them.. in the number 4 carb. had two washer and one seal...i think i find the problem...hopefully this is it.Any way I'm going to try that Viking mod hopefully it works i will let you know tomorrow for sure...thanks

 

who did you buy the kit from.. sigma6/factory or did you just buy new main jets"just bigger"
