Default issue with Neutral light......

ok....I have a 94 900rr, lately Ive been noticing while driving for a little while (especially now that its hotter weather) that while riding and putting bike in neutral the light starts to flicker then sometimes goes all the way off . then when Im ready to park I have it in neutral with engine still running and when I lower kick stand the bike shuts off as if the bike is thinking its in gear still.

has anyone had this problem?

I dont have this issue when bike is cold or cool weather

Default Switch??

If light flickers, sounds like an electrical switch? Sticky switch. Neutral switch? When in neutral or in gear, there must be a switch relay signal to neutral light. When kickstand is down, there is a kick stand switch shutting down motor if in gear. I never experience anything alike what you state, but hearing the problem, I would look in this direction? Good luck and keep us

not hard at all, sensor is located above the gear shifter with wire that leads to the starter....
