Default I know there's tons out there but...

i know there's tons of threads out there dealing with no spark on a 900.
here's my story hopefully someone might be able to help me.
i bought. 1993 Cbr 900rr with 30k on it.
the dude i bought it from told me he had took it apart to clean nd to put some New parts on it. he said once it was all put back together it would run like a champ. i believed him nd since i thought it was all simple plug nd play i went ahead and bought the bike.
now 3 months later countless hours i still can't get the.bike started.
i bought the service manual.
i was getting spark Nd fuel so i figured i had fouled plugs. put ngks in and now i have.no spark no fuel and ontop of that when i changed the plugs i dropped in a small amount of hydraulic fluid in each cylinder to in case the fuel had dried out the walls nd i had no compression. when i did that i noticed oil dripping out from below the exhaust pipes from a small dark hole i looked That up in the manual Nd found out that california bikes had extra exhaust recycling systems? so am i missing the whole enchilada?? would that be a reason i can't get it to start? oh nd also i don't have a battery so i ran jumper wires from a car battery that was hooked up to a charging machine could that fry my icm? help please i don't wanna give up on this "basket"

Man, sounds like you got a POS. Post up some pics of the leak by the exhaust.

No compression is bad. You need to sort that before you even start to worry about spark or fuel. I know this sucks but you might need to start looking for another bike or maybe a donor motor.

I wonder if there is any way to plug those holes. Wouldn't this affect compression?

this is what the holes look like.
Im using my phone to upload and post so i couldn't highlight them but u can see them under the exhaust pipes.
i tried doing the compression test but the end you screw in was too big. Im going in tomorrow to see if i can find one that fits.
does anyone have a California emissions bike? or a regular one to see if those holes exist on yours nd Idk how would i plug them up? weld? thread them nd screw a bolt in?

There has got to be a way to plug those. They aren't some sort of drain, right?

sorry I've been m.i.a.
I've been looking for a motorcycle adapter for my compression tester.
i don't think Theyre for draining purposes. can you look on yours Nd see if your bike has them?
