Why go thru the hassle of a 17" swap? How often do you need to replace the front tires? How long are you planning on keeping the bike? There are quite a few name brand tire company that offer
16" ....unless you are 100% sure, don't do it...make better use of your time & money. Unless you receive confirmation from members here say YES, do it...if maybe? Don't...that's my 2 cent. Just replace the 16" and ride!!

for example, like right when you get a new set of tires, and the bike feels really light, and you can flick it into any turn with ease? over the next thousand miles that feeling goes away, and it starts feeling heavy and sluggish. I rode the same year as mine with the conversion (dude moved away and I never heard from him again so I cant ask details) but the tire was dead- thing felt way better than mine did so I'm doin eeeet!

I've only heard 17" swap is for the convenience of tire selections...if better on handling then go for it....keep us posted...I may want to keep an eye out for any F3 17" spare? But ****, i need to chrome it though...LOL...
