Default Mpg... I know it's been beaten to death

So I've read over and over that these bikes get high 30's at best and people who claim better are liars. I just finished my big day of tune up and parts changing and my fill up today was 106 miles on 2.44 gallons which comes out to 43.44 ish. I'm way overweight and I acceleration hard sometimes and I've averaged 39-43 mpg the last 2 weeks. Before the tune up I would get about 120-135 miles to about 4 gallons which comes out to be like low 30's high 20's. So I guess anyone not getting this is in a high altitude area, beating on the bike or like me just needed a serious tune up. All 4 of my plugs were shot and not very tightly threaded( as in I didn't need a wrench to twist the socket to pull them out). Just sharing my little knowledge I have haha

I would think that 39-43 would be about right for an F4i if you weren't ripping on it all the time.

46mpg, all freeway, shifting at 7k RPMs, and I don't weigh anything. So it's entirely possible.

If I go slow for a good bit I've had over 50 before, but usually average 40-42 for as long as I've had the bike

You obviously were only listening to the un-informed. Only time I've got worse then 40 is canyons and trackdays. Normally 45-50. Shift at 4k and I weight 170.

Aim for 10 miles per litre. Better than that and you've been laid back, worse..... you've had fun and got from A to B real quick.
