Just bought my 99 900rr today, came with 2 sets of fairings and 2 motors for $1400.

The bike needs a total tear down and rebuild, its been sitting for 5 years. The carbs were cleaned and never reinstalled, the bike is a mess atm but I love a new project.

 

I have a 99 900rr. previous bikes include 3 FZR 600, CBR 600 Hurricane, and a ZX-7R. and numerous dirt bikes.

 

I just got a 93 900rr. My first bike. Wish me luck.

327 and 328 are jokes , right? First bike?! I take it we are not keeping track of numbers. Just joining the club. i Just bought a 99 900rrfor $3500. It had a yosh pipe , chromed wheels, polished, swingarm and came with 2 helmets. I overpaid a little , but the bike is in just as close as you can get to showroom cond. for a used bike. Previous: fzr600 yamaha virago, 96 cbr900 , and rode a bunch of others. New bikes suck. They look like aliens with gills (zx14 for the gills)! I love the beefy wide look of the older cbrs. Hate the new look of the thin ,"to a point" tail. I understand they want to make them light and aero, but.....
