Headlight Question

my 97 cbr 600 f3 has a 900 rr front end on it, and now since it has 2 headlights, only one works since the f3 only has wiring for one headlight. i dont really want to splice the entire wiring harness to get the second headlight to work, so i was wondering if i could connect the second headlight to a toggle switch? is this possible, and if so do i need to add a fuse or how would i connect the light to a toggle switch? thank you!

You could get away with a toggle IF you used a relay. Make sure you get a hefty relay that will handle the juice. The relay will transfer all of the power instead of it running thru the switch which is what causes the switch to fail or burn up. I learned this when I kept burning up switches after I swapped a SuperCoupe fan assembly to my Mustang.
