Another F3 Headlight question?
Okay guys I have another retarded question about the headlight housing on a 1996 F3. Those two ***** on the back of the housing one for up and down and the other for left and right. Do they actually adjust the light b/c I dont see any movement when I move them? Thanks again...
Yes.
Park your bike about 6 inches from a wall on a level surface. Turn it on, and place masking tape on the wall horizontally, and vertically centered with your headlight.
Back your bike up to about 20 feet and use those ***** to adjust your low beam to remain in the center of the tape. Then for the high beams. If you can't get either just right, remember your low beams are most important.

Thanks.. I have stock fairings, when I put them back on I'll see. Most likely it will be the same with stock fairings, I'm hoping.
In the meantime, if anybody knows if its possible to adjust the ***** on the back of headlight housing on F3 with stock fairings in place please drop a line.
Again, thanks everyone...

I would assume stock you would just take the side fairings off and reach behind..... the centerfairing will stay with the headlight but the side ones would be removed so you can get your hand in there.
You can adjust the headlight with the fairing in place, just takes a bit of time rooting around till you find the knurled *****. Just make a mental note of where they are with the fairing off.
