Is it possible to remove the head without taking out the motor? Mines a 94, thanks

 

I don't have a direct answer for you but I can tell you if you have a socket set and a car jack; lowering the engine out of the frame isn't a difficult job. Five bolts, a few radiator hoses, a couple wires... you're good to go!
