In the dim and distant past i had one of the very early fireblades. Ive recently got an SC28 engine thats been a race motor. I would like to put in a chassis. I have a set of 4x Keihin FCR 41 carbs for it, and a full Yoshi ti exhaust system. I also have a Maxton shock to fit the bike this all came off.

So my question is, what chassis/frame will it fit straight into? Whatever it came out of, it didnt need a TPS input, as that has been cut from the bank of carbs.

If i can find a frame only, then what contemporary upgrades should i consider for the build? Im thinking forks/brakes/wheels could be improved on a 90s superbike.

Where are you located? The 893 will fit in the '92-'95 SC28 frame, also the '96-'97 SC33 frame.

 

Hi, i didnt realise i could just drop into a later model sc33 frame. Im in N Wales, but currently on holiday in France. Im not in a massive rush but would appreciate any observations or advice.
