Default NC23 to NC29 engine swap?

been offered a spare engine for my nc23 racebike.

the engine is an nc29.

Do the engines from an nc29 fit straight in with no mods? if not, how extensive is the work required to make it fit?

also, are the carbs the same? I assume not, but thought id check. Could the nc23 carbs be jetted to suit, or would you need the nc29 carbs?

Could be a cheap extra engine for when the current one either blows up, or needs rebuilt

It will fit in,but then you have problems with coil positions and air intake and other ancillaries , the carbs have a TPS on the 29 and a different ECU

cool. seems like Im better off putting the money aside for a rebuild later on for the original engine, than going to all that effort.
