Giving her a make over!
Man that thing is looking SICK!!!! I think I found my Chopper! Heck of a deal and getting a great price on it. After seeing what you have done to the wheels... I'm gonna have to have you bring me all of the stuff to shine my new bike up! I will have to send you a link by email so that you can check it out. The paint looks great!!

If youre getting a chopper, Im sure it will all be chrome. My sandpaper wont play well with chrome, but Ill bring my hands and raw fingers.
1917cc's....thats ridiculous
I think Friday is the day!!! I can't wait to see your bike with the plastics back on!! How long is it at the shop?? Are you doing any other mods to it? Did you ever find a new (or not damaged) gauge cluster?
Better do it Friday then, they call for rain Saturday. It should be done at the shop this afternoon, but nothing with this bike so far has gone according to schedule. I am thinking of trimming the exhaust down to make it sound a little better, but I do not know how to rivet things...so I don't know.
It was the headlight enclosure (sits behind the gauge cluster) that was broken. It was plastic welded back, its stronger than the side that never broke now. Doesn't look that good, but it wont ever bee seen. Think I'm going to hit it with a little black spray paint at least to hide it more.
So everyone keeps giving me crap that my 900 is so quiet. I was thinking of chopping the can down a bit. Anyone have any input on this? Any cons to it? Will it mess with my engine by cutting down back pressure?
___Z___ i already have your opinion obviously.

do it I have had no problems with cutting my two brothers on my bike and it looks way better and the riveting is easy you put the rivet in the gun and then put it through the hole in the exhaust and pull the handle and done repeat for each hole.
yeah...riveting has always been a mystery...but its super simple! Got a rivet gun and rivets for $10. Waiting on my bike to get back! Trying to decide if i want to cut the exhaust. Seems odd that you don't have to do anything else when you cut it, because when you change the exhaust you have to...
