Hey Guys, just bought a gas tank for my 93 cbr 900rr off of EBAY and it does not have a key for the lock.How can I get the tank open??? Has anybody ever busted into a tank?? I am looking for any tricks or advice on this problem.

 

Remove the allen bolts mounting the cap and raise the rear of it and pull up and it should come out

 

Once you get it out they have lock sets that come with keys on ebay. They are pretty plentiful too so you shouldnt have a problem finding one. Only thing is you will have a different key for that particular lock unless you buy the whole set which they have on ebay too. Check it out
