Default fuel pump question.....

I have a 97 cbr 900rr. As we all know there was no fuel pump on this bikes....right? As I go between 80-90mph my bike seem to be missing. I cleaned the carbs thinking a float was at fault....I also changed my fuel filter. My question is.... Does any one know what it could be? Could it be spark plugs????can I put a fuel pump even if it doesnt require one? Any help is greatly appreciated!!! and please dont say.... JUST KEEP IT UNDER 80MPH

Off the subject....I bought two sets of racing fairings for a 95 cbr 900rr....after changing the upper stay will everything bolt up tp the frame?

once again! any help is appreciated!

check the carb sync. i also have a 97 900RR and it is doing the same thing. i am currently trying to get mine synced. mine is doing the opposite though. missing at low speed great at high speed. so may not be what you have going on. just a suggestion.
