Front end feels loost at higher speed
So we went up a 4 lane twisty (dont ask me how it can be 4 lane twisties, its how they made it) the other day, I took the 900rr up to 160 mph (so what my friend said since he was going 145 mph and we were still pulling away from him) and as I lean into the turns my bike feels just a tadd loose up front, anyone know how to cure that front-end looseness? Im planning on lowering the front end just a little but I dont want to lower it too much.

RE: Front end feels loost at higher speed
have you checked e-bay? i have found many new and used parts for our bike on there.
i have a stableizer on mine and it still feels loose at speed. i'm thinking that my issue ithe tires,
right now i' running METZELER sportec. i will be going back to BRIDGESTONE BATTLEAX, i had
a 94 600f2 and that bike handled great w/those tires. i had that bike at 145 mph and it never felt
loose, i'm hopeing that my 900 w feel the same as the 600 did.

Yeah I checked a few times, but at this time, they don’t have anything for our bikes…that I need, that is.
What I meant by front end loose is that it’s not understeering, it feels like there’s not enough down force to keep the tires on the ground. I can still lean over and I can still maneuver, but it feels like when you throttle it in first gear and your nose lifts up just a little but not fully off the ground to the point where you’re handle bar feels a little loose…well that’s how it feels like at that speed….want to correct that.

i think thats normal for these bikes, especially when on the throttle. sometimes even when driving
around town my bike sometimes will grabb the smallest crack in the road and ride it. this sometimes
makes it feel twitchey and loose, but the front wheel will come up at will or when excellerating hard.

we have turns like that here in the mountains but it must be my age or lack of bottle that stops me going too quick in them lol.
or the fact partre hard to find if i have a spill. either way, yes i agree the front does follow lines and the whole bike feels like it will buckle at times lol. but i think thats just part of the thrill of theses beasts
