ok heres the deal either at a light or goin any speed if i gun it toWOT it will shoot up in rpms then plateau around 5 to 7 or 8k then pick back up after that. is this normal for the 900's or whats wrong? could it be jets or what.

I had a 94 900rr and mine never did anything like what your describing. Something is wrong. I dono if your carbs are gunky or whatever. But there is an issue. You can start from there.

i know its not my carbs cause i just completely overhauled them. cleaned the jets then decided to completely rebuild the carbs so i am pretty sure its not the carbs what else could it be?
