Red face Flat slides

Ok i found a set of 36mm flatslides (ya 36mm). Now i got these things to fit, but they are getting way too much fuel.. Any clues???? Now i also found a set of 41mm and the guy is not sure if they will fit. I got the part number he gave (S97A-M1). I have no clue???? Can any of you help??? I would really like to put a set of flatslides on my bike...

too much fuel means the float height is off, or the jets are over-sized. If you don't know anything about these carbs then your not going to get very far. Better ID them and see if there are any tuning specs through the company. If you have no prior tuning experience then this is definitely a job for a qualified mechanic with racing and dyno experience. Nothing else I can really tell you without more information.

Ya thats what i thought.... were can you find rebuild kits for these carbs. Ive checked on keihins web site and nothing?????

It is common that you can just order certain jet kits and rebuild it based on that. Talk with Factory Pro and see if they offer any recommendations on jetting those carbs. I have never worked on a set, but I'd love to get my hands on some.
