fitting scottoiler question

Default fitting scottoiler question

hi guys i have a 97 blade v model and bought a scottoiler for her. can someone please tell me if i can connect the vacuim pipe from scottoiler to the vacuim pipe coming from the petrol tap.or would this be a bad idea. if so wher else would i find a vacuim take of point. cheers guys for any replies

Ought to work fine, as long as you ensure no air leaks. Just get a 'T'-connector from a aquarium/pet store and some extra hose.

Default scottoiler

thanks for your reply but all is fitted now i found another vacuim feed as i didnt really like to cut into the vacuim pipe coming from the fuel tap incase it wasnt air tight when finished so i looked a bit harder and found one of the vacuim feeds thats used for connecting gadges for ballancing the carbs and connected to this all working now thanks guys

The sync ports are a good option as well. I recommended the fuel tank vacume line because it is already the farthest routed to the rear of the bike, where the oiler mounts.
