Fitting a SC33 on a SC28 and the other way around
Hello.
Excuse my poor english skills, but i'm from "out of town"
Perhaps this question has been posted several other times, but i wasen't able to to find any post through the search engine.
My question is, that i'm concidering buying a sc33, and would like to know what i have to do, to fit the tank + the plastic from the sc33 over to my sc28 and the other way around, the sc28 parts on the sc33.
Any help would be much appriciated, as this is the main concern if i should buy the sc33 or not.

RE: Fitting a SC33 on a SC28 and the other way around
No worries, your English is very good. Euro models of the Fireblade vary from U.S. models but I know that for American models, to change over plastics you also need to change over the 'front fairing stay' and 'mirror bracket' for the 'upper cowl.' The front fairing stay is shaped slightly differently to allow for the newer headlight and the mirror bracket is shaped like a 'V' instead of an 'H' and mounts to a different part of the frame. The mid and lower plastics should fit but only as a whole: either all 33 or all 28 (the 'center lower V-cowl' is different). Tail pieces will also fit but again, only as a whole. The fuel tank on the 33 has two front mounting holes whereas the 28 has only one, so unless you drill new holes, you won't be able to secure it. Also, American 33's, if I'm not mistaken, came without fuel pumps and used a gravity feed for the fuel, so you may have a problem hooking up the fuel lines.
