factory fork settings
My question is does anybody know what the factory settings are for springs in front?
I just did my fork seals this AM. Pretty easy with right tools. I count 14 clicks total from S to H. Mine were set 10 clicks from S. Top side and bottom side. I can put them back where they were, but was looking to see what factory might be. I'm guessing 7 clicks. This is my first Bike so I dont really know how it should handle with different settings. Any insight? I guess I can go 7 clicks and see how it rides and see If I can tell the difference. Will have to be tomorrow when its 64 and sunny out.
BTW I got the 45mm driver, bullet cap, oil cup if anyone needs to use them. PM me.
Thanks Vinman

Hi Vinman, according to my haynes manual the spring preload (big grooved adjuster) is third groove from the top aligning with the top surface of the hexagon.
Rebound damper (smaller inner screw adjuster) is one turn (US models 96 - 99 and UK models T - X) or seven clicks (all other year models) anticlockwise from the max setting. The marker on the damping adjuster aligns with the reference mark on the preloader adjuster body.
Do you need the compression damping settings also? Hope this helps.
