Default Electrical problem

I have a slight problem. I work night shift so I leave for work at 10:00pm. Well last night on my way to work I noticed that the headlight would dim and then get brighter. It was really noticable when the high beams were on. I didn't know if it would be the battery, rec. or the stator. Any help would be great so I don't have to spend a lot replacing stuff that isn't needed.

Default RE: Electrical problem

This started happening to me when my stator was going out. Sometimes the tach light would be on, then other times not. When it finally went out, the tech said it took out my regulator also. Not the case. I bought a new stator and r/r (cheap online ones) and the stator is great. The r/r was blowing my main fuse, so I put my OEM Honda one back in, no more problems....yet.

it could be your stator, rectifer, or both. Follow the testing instruction listed. You might have to replace the battery too. I just completed the same task, good luck!!
