Electric starter not working

Most likely it's the fuse or the starter relay, but yes it could be the switch - a multimeter will help you work that out.

Remember that it won't start if it's in gear unless you pull the clutch, or if the sidestand is down (or if it thinks the sidestand is down because of a bad switch, or someone unplugged the switch).

Starter relay has been replaced and the fuse I have personally checked and replaced. Nada. I plan on cleaning the contacts they look dirty, if that doesn't work I'll check the switch.

wound up being a relay that was bad and multiple poor connectors/weak battery.
