Curdled & electrics went out - works again

So today I had been driving a few legs already and was cruising normally. Suddenly the bike started to curdle like it wasn't getting gas? I drove stopped aside and shut down the bike. After that the electrics went out. I checked the battery (not sure but + might have been a little loose). Then I got electrics back but the bike didn't start. I managed to push-start it and it has been working normally since then... Why did that happen and will it do it again?
Also whats normal temperature in summer (20-25c) cos I'm not sure but I think that my bikes a bit too warm on normal urban cruising, the temps about at half and bike feels very warm...

Answering myself. Consulted one motorcycling electricman. He had had almost same kind of porblem with Virago cos batterys -pole was a little loose. These things are so sensitive to electric problems...
