Default Completely dead, no start, no lites, no nothing

Went to start my 95 900 yesterday and it turned over twice strongly and then everything went dead. It completely stopped. I checked all the fuses and they are good. I had the battery tested and it is good. Put on a new VR 2 years ago but I doubt that's the issue. Any ideas?

try cleaning the battery connection terminals... it could just be that its not grounding when its on because of so much dirt/ corrosion on the terminal itself.

There is no dirt nor corrosion on the terminals. The connections are good. That's the first thing I checked

feel the wires themselves, any bubbles in the wires need to be cut out and replaced

Stupid question...
You check the master fuse under the seat?

Feel really dumb but after getting the battery checked a second time it turned out to be junk. I've never had a battery completely die and go to nothing on me while starting a cycle.

Don't feel bad. One of the reasons I keep up on these forums, is to find new symptoms to old problems. There are really not that many things that can go wrong in the sub-systems of even modern motorcycles but there are a million ways they manifest themselves. So you are just contributing to the general pool of knowledge. Doesn't that make you sound so much nobler? ;-)

Thumbs up 30 amp fuse under the gas tank

Nice! After recently melting an r/r and the connectors, my dashlights wouldn't even light up. It was the 30amp! I got the r/r (and new wiring harness) from eBay for $50 (includes ship), it's bigger than stock and the wires are a heavier guage. I spliced the new connector into my harness.
