Default Cluster/speedo LED bulb replace on older model bikes

Ok members, I understand the newer model RR uses led bulbs in cluster...

My question is have anyone every replace those older (93-99 CBR) model OEM bulbs with newer LED bulb? Are they direct replacement without mod?

Reason I'm asking is because ive change all my F/R signal to LED blinkers...everything wirks great except the cluster signal indicator which flashes when you signal (letting you know your signal is on) it works but flashes very dim. Dim meaning not enough (volt) current to the OEM bulb inside cluster. So I was thinking a LED bulb uses lot less current, so if I replace it with a led bulb, should solve my problem...

Any advice appreciated...Tks!

Well, I found out the bulb PN# is 34909-KW3-003 for the cluster indicators (signal, high beam, neutral, oil)

The speedo dash is PN#34907-KW3-003

Now I know I can replace these with OEM bulbs, but it'll be nice to go LED on ALL.

I'm thinking like blue or purple dash speedo, just amber indicators....

If no one know, I may need to buy one sample or pull the old one from my bike an then send them to superbrightled.com

There gotta be something out there?

If I found a led ready relay direct fit onto my 94 RR ( which also works with the 1000RR, maybe cluster bulb should fit too?

Well, at least I found out bulb is a Wedge Base:

http://www.google.com/search?q=34909...iw=320&bih=416

Looks like it's only on the 93-94 cbr900rr

If anyone knows where to buy a led bulb replacement, please chime in...Tks.

Sorry, I found out its the other way around:

The PN# is 34909-KW3-003 is T10 wedge base - speedo dash

The PN#34907-KW3-003 is T6.5 wedge base -for the cluster indicators (signal, high beam, neutral, oil)

Keep this in mind when ordering....

Hey guys, I just got a respond from Superbrightled.com tech. He suggested a link for the replace of the T10 wedge base bulb. He said to use the 194 type bulb (1 smd). I'll post the link....

As for the T6.5 he's check and let me know later if ok to use the same 194type 1smd bulb

BRB....

Ok, before I confuse everyone, here is the link to diagram of the 93-94 CBR 900RR speedo, 95-97 may be using the similar bulb, so please check for yourself.

If you look at #1 & #2 below....

#1 is PN#34907-KW3-003 is T6.5 wedge base -
#2 is PN# is 34909-KW3-003 is T10 wedge base -

By looking at the shape of the sockets in the diagram, I need 2pcs #1 (T6.5) , and 7pcs #2 (T10) bulbs.

Superbrightled's tech already recommended the buld for the T10, now I'm waiting for his respond on the T6.5.

I guess we have to figure out what type of LED bulb to use for replacement, since it's different wedge base type (T10 & T6.5 )

Here is the email with SUPERBRIGHTLED's tech support:

Ryan,

Thank you for reply, before ordering, I discover below:

PN#34909-KW3-003 (12V 1.7W H.D) is T10 wedge base.

PN#34907-KW3-003 (12V 1.7W) is T6.5 wedge base.

On my below email, I only indicated the T10 base. Would you recommend the same led bulb (194 type, 1smd) for the other T6.5 base.

Hello Dennis,

Those are 194 type bulbs. Id suggest something like our 1 smd bulb here :
