Back from a very wet weekend in Summerset, lol.
Will take a look at the cam chain tentioner alittle later, to see if thats causing the noise, not sure if that is the problem though, as you dont get the noise when the bike is stationary no matter how much you rev it. only when the bike is being ridden, above 2500 - 3000 RPM and clears around 6500 RPM,

 

what would one have to do to figure out if a noise similar to this indeed timing chain slap and how much would that cost to have repaired or what the procedure is
