Default Can anyone help?

Hi... Im new to the site and a new 1995 honda cbr900rr owner and was wondering if someone might be able to help... The bike was running fine for about 2 months and then today it just died... i was riding home from work and i noticed that when i started to take off in first it felt jumpy and like it was gonna die... eventually it did, after sitting for a bit, it finally started again but was runnin real rough, like it wasnt getting enough gas and i had to rev it up just to keep it running... this def. sounds like a gas issue to me, but im not certain... now it sounds like it wants to start, but doest.... Maybe a fuel pump or something? Please guys, any help would be great ! thanks !

happened to me the other day. I was out of gas. Sounded like a **** poor lawn mover. Make sure that your petcock is in the right position. I thought I was in PRI but I was in reserve and on empty.[:@]

no need to spend money on a fuel pump, just get rid of the pump and run a direct line. guaranteed to run way better.

Fuel problem r i could be a regulator-rectofirer<- cant spell that one it controls the flow of electric from the batt. to the bike.. could be as simple as the vacume line going from themotor to the petcock causing it not to open the diapfram all the way .. i would check all the fuel lines then the petcock diafram then the batt. let us know how it goes.....
