Default busted motor casing

i busted a piece of the motor casing where the tranny cover bolts in to the cassing.

I saw a guy on u tube with almost the same problem. he used super glue and JB weld too fix this. I would like to just have it welded but im on a very tight budget and dont have the cash. Im going to try the jbweld on this. I do want to know what everyone thinks of this.

any thoughts would be great as i have been working on this build for 6 months and cant buy anything else for this or i would buy a replacement case off of ebay or another motor.

my buddy is in the same boat with his 09 600rr, its sitting in my garage for now until he gets a new crank, but honestly if its not a sructural part of the block, theres no reason why a super strong epoxy wouldnt work. its not the ideal fix, but it would work for the time being

Epoxy would probably work. Years ago I had the lower engine mounts that were totally broken off a FZR 600 engine repaired at a machine shop. Competent TIG welder should be able to do it.
