Default Boggin/Studdering

I just recently took out the carbs on my 93, cleaned em, finally got them sync'd and the bike runs 200x times better than it used to. However at idle it studders/bogs a little. Any suggestions?

Plugs were replaced last season, and yes upping the idle does help but then it has to sit around 1500 and I was told that's bad.

The normal idling should be around 1000 +\- 100 . Well i know that's almost same for year 96-99 900rr.

That's what I was told and I try to keep it at that too, but when it is, it sounds like the bike wants to kill itself

Maybe it's running too rich...if you tried to rev it up from idle, did the engine stall a bit before the rpm rev up? Did you set the fuel mixture screws below each carbs? it should be turned out according to the manual for best standard setting... but also have to be adjusted according to where you are from sea level. On 98-99 it should be turned out(counter clockwise) - about 2 turns if i'm not mistaken.
Hope this helps, and sorry if i'm wrong
