Butt conectors I found in a drawer for now. There is a great u tube vid on hardwireing the stator to the regulator gonna do that, gonna rewire with some fat guage yellow copper or what kind of wire u all recomend. Gonna open the stator and solder direct like factory to the coil were ever the solder points are then str8 yellow x3 all the way to the reg connector and also gonna replace the mating conectors within the plastic fitting so its all fresh copper and whatnot. So with this new reg it good

Ranfom pic. What is this paint code anybody know the paint codes off the top their head real quick just so I can know what back to stock looks like?

The left is the new OEM Honda part. But the bolt holes dont line up exactly perfect and it doesnt look like the one in the 1996 manual? Yes im using a 96 manual to fix my 94. Hope it works lol. What is this thing a 929 954 regulator anybody recognize this? Here is the part number n stuff is printed on the bottom there in white.

Here is the Honda dealer part number.

Default Test ride confirmed fixed. Was the regulator not throwing enough voltage at to batt

So its fixed drove 2 hours in a downpour got soaked was prayin it didnt die again and burn my new 300 canadian oem part. Cleaning up the wiring a bit and cutting out the unessesary 3x yellow connector help reduce the hot wires. Like i said gonna go ham on them 3 yellow tommorow get it tikidy bo all buttoned up and keep an eye on the voltage that stator chucks down to the regulator. Again still not sure the wiring diagram doesnt really specify 3 yellow are to be placed in any particular order so i just put 3 to 3 and crimped. Please let me know if I should be running 1 yellow to a certain slot in that new reg rec male to.female connector on the regrec.? Thanks. Next up headlight adjustment, and then mabey brake job? Like I said before dont want to tear into it to deep or I know Ill be down for weeks doing grounds and rewiring and top end bla bla so 1 thing at a time this bike. K thanks again. Please help if u a blade ninja.

I recently replaced my oem reg/rec & stator on my '96 cbr900rr with aftermarket ones from a company called Electrosport. I disovered both were fried after my new battery was not being maintained at the right voltage (engine wouldn't turn over one morning). It came to about $300 for both items.
They seem to be high quality items and my voltage to the battery doesn't fluctuate much from 14.5V (according to the manual, oem voltages fluctuate between 13-15V or so), even when I rev the engine up to 5,000 rpm.
You do need to make sure your wiring is in good condition though.
