Define stunted ? That gearing is fairly typical around the town wheelie machine IMO.

Why do you say that? I have been running 2 down 4 up on my 900, and it is a track only bike.........

You talking about track or dragstrip ?

Stock gearing is already maxed out in the mid 150's , dropping that much gear you'll get eaten alive on any track with some legs on it.

Dragstrip , well that's a different ballgame if your bumping into the red at the traps @ 130 , then you might be ok.

My bad then, when you say "Track" , I'm naturally thinking road course.

Did you see my avatar? Does that look like a drag strip? What tracks do you run?

Well, my gearing has worked at Arroyo in New Mexico, High Planes in Colorado, Eagles Canyon, Cresson in Texas. Only had to change down 1 tooth in the rear depending on direction at Arroyo. Obviously it wont work on a huge banked track like Texas World or Daytona, but you get the idea.

Oh that's cool. I was a part timer so didn't venture out too much. Perks of living in Daytona I guess. But yeah , at Daytona, a 130s top end would get you flagged. Plus , you don't need stop light acceleration on the track when your slowest corner is 50-ish. The whole " ____ gearing" thing is kinda an oxy anyway. Each situation may require a specific set , there's not really anything such as " Track Gearing" IMO. You better be prepared for 'that' track.
