Pat yourself on the back, electrical problems are the worst. Just a bit of advice; you should fill every connector in your bikes electrical system with dielectric grease. What this grease does is act as an insulator to the blades and terminals in electrical connectors and keeps them free of moisture and oxygen, both corrosive. This is important because any corrosion on the connectors adds to more resistance through that connector. If this resistance gets high enough then there will be a lot of heat and you will start to see your connections melting. This happens a lot of the re/rec plug. This grease also makes it way easier to connect and disconnect the connectors. Everyone should do this because it is cheap insurance and it will seriously prolong the life of any vehicles electrical system. For a 3$ tube there is no good excuse not to do it. Enjoy bike week!
