Default 99 900rr lowering

What is the easiest way to lower the rear of the bike? I have already lowered the shock seating. My wife is 5'0" and would like to be flat footed on the bike. Any help would be great.

If you want your wife to be safe, don't lower the bike. Lowering a bike is one of the worst things you can do. It changes the handeling, geometry, and lean angle of the bike. Honda designed them to perform at a specific height. When you change that height, you alter the bike. Most AMA and professional racers raise the bike back up for better handeling. That being said, you can lower it other ways. Pick up an extra seat off ebay and shave the foam down. Have her get some boots that have more of a soul on them. Those will help quite abit. She doesn't have to stand flat foot to ride.

it is not recomended but if you turn the triangle that holds the swing arm shock and frame around so the arrow is pointing to the back of the bike it will lower the back about 3/4 of a inch you may have to add to the perload on the rear shock and cut the kickstand i dont remember
