I know this has been hashed out so many times but I can't find any CLEAR and CONCISE info anywhere of what 17" wheels area *direct bolt on* for the 98 - 99 900RR using the same stock rotors as the 98/99 RR. I know F2 and F3 work with new spacers and their corresponding rotors. I've heard 98 - 02 VFR fronts are direct bolt ons with the same rotors as the 98/99RR. More importantly does anyone know if an 02 VTR Superhawk front wheel is a direct bolt on? I've got a lead on one.

I know someone wrote a very long and detailed thread on front wheel swaps somewhere on here. It listed every wheel possible. If I find it I'll post a link to it.

 

I haven't come across so far that any bike fronts will be a direct bolt on to replace the 16" RR.

 

F3 and some VFR rims of similar vintage. F2 rim will only **** you off as it will not fit.

 

These wheel mount right to a 1999 CBR 900RR

90-93 VFR750
95-98 CBR600F3

You can mount a front wheel from a 94-97 VFR750 but you will need different rotors.

I just got a 92 VFR front wheel and it swaps right on.
