Hey guys, I'm new to this site, it seems like a pretty reputable place to get info. Well heres my problem.

i had a break down on the side of the road yesterday, i was stupid and forgot to tie up my cdi box after i lowered my bike and moved around the undertail, so it fell down and caught the tire and pulled some wires with it. I have been looking around on ebay and i cant find any cdi boxes with matching numbers to mine.

My numbers are
MASG AC
974U
7X13

The only one closest to it was a
MASG AC
974U
7X16

What is the difference in the numbers and can i run a different box?

Also where can i find a new wiring harness splice with that connector on it?

have u checked ebay? I found a couple cdi boxes for my 95.

 

Yes I check ebay almost every day, I can't find one where the numbers match perfectly, I decided I'm going to save up for a dynatech 2000 complete system.... Has anyone had any luck/ problems with this system?

 

Ao call the dealership. They'll tell you what all is compatible on your bike.
