Default 97 speedo pickup in a 98?????? what to do

Since putting an older engine in my 98 bike, I also installed a speedo pickup from a 97 that is driven off the sprocket. Now my speedo reads 15mph at 100. Even tried another sensor, but still reads same. Is there something else that needs to be done to make the speedo read out properly? thanks guys

A speedo healer may fix the issue. If you try something else, sell me your 97 speedo sensor!!

Speedo Healer corrects the electronic speed sensor. More... http://www.speedohealer.com/eng/desc.htm The speedo should not be off by that much though.

Do you have the sprocket cover that you would be willing to sell me as well? How about, $50+ shipping?
