Default 95 CBR900 bad motor?

Ok im new here its my first post, and i hope more to come.

My problem is the motor.. The guy i got the bike from grounded out the oil pan and it ( the oil pan ) hit the end cap on the No.3 cyl. Lost all the oil and fryed the motor i guess.

My question is the cross-referance of the crankshaft and rods, Can i take a 918cc or 919cc crank and use it in the 893cc motor?

Will a 918 or 919 bolt on my frame without major mods? Im looking to keep my current tranny im not working with alot of $ as this is my 2nt toy so i want to skate by here.

What is my best bet here, Rebuilding my motor or buying a running motor?
If any one has sites on used motors ect link them please.

weel the tranny is built inside the motor so if you get a newer engine it will have a transmission in it, I believe you can put a newer motor in the frame with minor modification the big problem is that the wire harness and the ecu are not compatible with other engines so you will need that as well!!! Ad I am not sure what you mean when you say that the previous owner grounded out the oil pan, like he connected a ground wire to the oil pan and grounded it out or what? and no you cannot use crankshafts from a different engine unless they have the same part numbers and just reading the way you wrote your questions it would probebly be a good Idea for you to hire a decent mechanic to build it for you!!!
