Just in the last few days, my brake light has been staying on at all times. When this first occured, I noticed a little slack in the front brake lever. I pushed it forward slightly, and the light turned off. However, this isn't working anymore.

Has anyone ever experienced this? I'm pretty sure it's got somethign to do with the front brake lever, as when I pushed it forward the problem fixed itself... albeit temporarily. Not the safest thing to be riding around with...

Hmmm, seems like the lever is not returning to its rest position by hydraulic pressure.

I'd first try topping off the brake fluid and bleeding the brakes. If that doesn't work, you may have a bad master cylinder seal.

The brake fluid is definitely due for a chance. I'll try bleeding the lines.

also check your cable,they have a small coating over the little ball on the end that comes off(depends on what cable you have).you can also check your rear brake pedal spring,some times they get to loose,or sometimes get tight and stay on.
