Yeah, the CBR900 Fireblade is kinda like one of those mistresses that you just cant let go of, even though there are more beautiful bikes out there. There wont be a another bike that will feel the same again.
Just gives the right amount of big torque without breaking your neck, right amount of roll on power without crapping in your pants, and the right stability that will keep you out of the Emergency Room.
Trully a well rounded machine.

And we're praising it as if it just came off the showroom floor.
Tadeo Baba we salute you!

RE: 900rr comfort
I somewhat suspect that the 900rrs, especially the 1993 models were built as close to factory spec as possible, with almost zero flaws mechanically.
Back in the early 90's Honda was trying to de-throne the current liter king, the GSXR-1100.
So, Tadeo Baba and his designers and the factory people I'm sure wanted to make darn certain they got the debut 900rr "right."
And "right" means machining every component, every part, tightening every bolt, wiring every light perfectly.
Which is why so many of these 900rrs, even later years, are still on the road and still running strong.

RE: 900rr comfort
i just got my 94 900rr and after a 2 hour ride i felt wiped.. sore back and neck as well as
numb hands... i'm working on it and deceided to put on some convertibars which will raise and
pull back the bars a bit; making it more like a sport tourer but i can also adjust them and make
them even more aggressive if i wanted to ... i'll let you all know how that goes...

RE: 900rr comfort
[:@]Just finished a 5 hr ride!
And boy is my neck sore.
I have never ridden a bike that long, and it wasn't even non stop.
I rode for the first 1.5 hrs then cleaned the bike at my friend's house for about an hour.
From there is was about 4 hrs of riding with stops at a few Walmarts, I was trying to buy mayonaise for my family. Never found the right brand.
