900rr??
I would go 96 or newer if I were you. To me they look better than the years with the round headlights. They also had larger displacement engines in them. From what I have seen they have better suspensions as well. Usually havign to do with the front rim being only 16" and with certain tires they are kind of a handful. Honda dialed this problem out in the later models while keeping the 16".. However, if you are planning on going to a 17" that you scammed off of a F3 and it doesnt make much differce. From a show point of view the 98 and 99 have the most aftermarket parts available by far. But as far as that goes the 929 and the 954 have the most parts available. But I strongly recomend the 900RR I absolultly LOVE mine!
thanks for the input guys just gota get rid of my f3 one more show with it and going on ebay to sell it then buy the big fun bike my buddy had the 1999 900rr i liked that one but thats the only one i rode
In my opinion you have to go for a 98 or a 99 900RR. Those are the best years for the 900 series. The best paint schemes, the best looking fairings, and the most streamlined design. Ive owned a 98 and two 99's. That is def the way to go. I currently own a 99 900RR showbike and let me tell you, they are becoming more rare everyday so get a clean one and HOLD ON TO IT!!! It will give you a return some day! Happy riding!
Awwwee Come on Now!!! My 95' 900RR color scheme Black/Purple/Fluorescent Yellow was a damn good paint job as well as the headlight revision which was onepiece/clear and provided excellent night riding. ALWAYS had admirers regarding the color scheme. I will admit the Erion Racing scheme was nothing to squint at in the later revisions! Annnd the 16' inch front tire was a bit nervous which was my only issue, but that was a significant one! Great trunk space! Yeah, I'm grabbing beans now to sway you, but who wouldn't if you've ridden the tried and true for nearly 10 years. Hoping to gain the same confidence on my new 1K RR... and yes I had to go with the Repsol gaudy edition - it ain't black, it's a deep metallic blue in the sunlight which is awesome so it redeems my confidence as an eye catcher and orange life saver at night!!! Godspeed on your decision!
