Default $500 Facebook 93 CBR900RR

Popped up on my Facebook feed and couldn’t pass it up. Been sitting since 2012 so the carbs and fuel pump are like molasses. Engine moves freely, changed oil and coolant and they look great. No frame, swingarm, fork, or engine cover rash. Ordered new fuel pump and pulled the carbs to rebuild and replacing fuel lines atm. Any secrets to dissolve the gummed up fuel? Anything else I should do to get her back in order?

Do yourself a favor and buy an ultrasonic cleaner, you'll thank me later. I'm in the process of my 3rd 900RR restoration/rebuild, and have completed 2 F3s and one F2. 3M aircraft cleaner available on Amazon is a great solution for the ultrasonic cleaner. Replace everything between the tank and the carbs, and clean the tank with Ospho. I don't get on here much, so if you PM me, I'll at least get an email alert. The '93 is the next one I'm working on

Also use PEA-based fuel system cleaner to scrub out all fuel-passages from tank to carb-venturi.
