Hey guys Ive never ridden a 98'-99' 900RR only my F4i and a few other bikes. I was just wondering if u really had to work it to get the front end up in 3rd gear clutching it (I always clutch it) I kno 3rd on my F4i is hard but possible I personally have never gotten 3rd up but I kno of ppl doing it. I would assume the 900RR wouldnt be too hard to get a wheelie up in 3rd with the fair amount of TQ it has but with its heavy weight I was just wondering.

 

My boy has a '99 900RR and has no problem doing 3rd gear stand ups.

 

Yes you can, not a prob. I'm not much into wheelies or stunts but I've almost looped out in a 3rd wheelie, that was by accedent.

 

got a97 900rr can do it in 4th
