i was just offered 2400 for mine today. man i could use the money but i love it sooooo much. what should i do? not trying to steal your thread, but thought it would be relavent to your question.

 

oh and there was no change between 96 and 97 they were both 918cc bikes it wasnt til 98 that they gained an extra cc.

 

Depends on the market. Here, you'd pay that much for any generic mid-80s bike in good running condition. You wouldn't get any Fireblade for less than twice that unless it was in pieces

first if the bike has been sitting for years and was realitivly easy to get running speaks volumes to lots of questions, as ive seen threads about daily drivers sitting weeks-months and not wanting to start. with that said someone else said market and supply/demaned, thats absolutly correct. i horse traded for my 97 900RR, and highend guess at what i paid???? 3500 bucks with 22000 miles, and would do it all over again, and again, and again, and again lol the pic is my bike the day i got it
