Hi all,

I am new to CBR forum as just bought a CBR900RR and love it even though it let me down on the way home from buying it. Right, half way home she ran well with no hassles but having not touched wood she decided to break down. I was doing 30mph in second when she started to run really ruff and spluttered and popped like crazy. She would not rev past 3000rpm, so pulled the clutch in stuck her in neutral and pulled over. She idels perfectly but wont rev. When I try to rev her she sounds very sick like she is running on 2 cylinders and cuts out. Any ideas? Please help. Regards Bronson

 

charge the battery and give it another go, then look into getting a regulator rectifier

 

Thanks very much. I checked the rectifier with a multi-meter today and it looks like its blown one of the diods so new one ordered. Thanks again.
