Alright everybody new here but couldn’t find a solution when I searched.
so here’s my issue, my bike feels sluggish and like it’s governed at 115mph. Has new plugs, cleaned filter, carbs went into an ultrasonic bath, and a stage 2 jet kit. I remember not all that long ago I was hitting 160 with a buddy and now it feels like a 250cc. It’s getting fuel and no stutter in any gear or rpm range but it hits 115 and stops. Any ideas?

Hey there If you can, stop by the new member’s area and introduce yourself.
when you put the carbs in the ultrasonic bath, we’re they split apart or as the entire bank? The reason I ask is they absolutely need to be dunked individually. And when this happens they need to be synced afterwards.

It really feels as if the bike has a speed limiter since it doesn’t matter the Rpms it just stops at 115.

pretty much yes. Doesn’t matter what gear or rpm range it just stops at 115

So it doesn't seem to be an ignition problem since it can rev to redline in 1st and 2nd. Then 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th have problems at velocities above 115mph. Seems like an airflow issue. Vacuum slides not opening all the way, or vacuum leak somewhere. During the rebuild of the carbs, "all" O rings were replaced? Have you pulled the tops of the carburetors to verify the vacuum slide skirts are seated properly and not leaking?
