190 rear tyre on a 99 rrx?

Dude, be careful getting advice as you make several assumptions regarding riding capability.....yours vs everyone else. Do yourself a favor, have the bike setup for your riding style. By that I mean take it somewhere like Traxxion Dynamx, GMD Computrak. Afterwards take the bike out for a local run in your local twisties, then come back and entertain tire options. You'll find the 190 or 200 prevent fall in nearly as quick as an 180. When considering tire make, consider Michelin pilot powers, should be able to find the rubber on discounts almost anywhere online.

thanks for all your input guys, im gonna go for a 190 in the next couple of weeks, i ride pretty aggresively so im hoping I will like the difference, if not i'll just have to change back. I'll let you all know what I think of it. I know it depends a lot on each persons riding style/ability, I know the limit of my bridgestones on at the mo (they're pants i might add). was just more concerned on any "known" problems with that size tyre on our bike! cheers guys.

look up the definition on google. it sais "tire-american ENGLISH, tyre-British ENGLISH". Being an ENGLISH man IN England Britain I would hinder a well educated guess thet we have it right! lol

Well I have had about 1 hr on the track now with the 190 rear and I love it. It "seems" to really handle well. and I notice a deeper lean angle. Not quite what the super bike guys do but hey

You can get Pirelli Diablo in 16 inch, anyone who thinks they can outride a Diablo on the road is dreaming, Demon Tweeks were doing Diablo tyre set deals for the CBR900RR approx £130 a pair, not sure if that offer is still on. I got a set last year, terrific tyres, the date stamp showed they were 6 months old.
anyone fitting a 17” wheel to the front of a blade that originally had a 16” is an idiot, Honda put that 16” wheel on to reduce rotational mass, turn in is terrific with a 16 fitted, so you hear people say “I’ve fitted a 17” for greater tyre choice “ but as nobody actually needs a better tyre than a Diablo they have simply made the bike worse 🙄
