190 rear tyre on a 99 rrx?
just wondered if any1 tried goin on wider tyres on their 98 or 99 900rr, and how they feel it effected the bike? as im looking to get some new tires next week. also what do you all recomend? i still have the 16" front wheel, im not too worried about how long they will last, i jus want them sticky as possible in dry and wet. thanks in advance.
I'm running a 190 but on a 6 1/2" rim. I don't think your getting one on the stock rim , or would want to try but I could be wrong I guess.
That being said , it's handles just fine but it was the rims in my case that made that choice , not me.

It can be done, But it changes the profile of the rear tire. I would just stick with the 180 and get a set of Brigestone BT-016's, I am running them on my 99 and love them. But I am running a 17" front wheel as well
I agree.if you are an experienced rider, a 190 or 200 looks great and handles like a dream.Look at the AMA World SuperBikes or the MOTO GP Bikes they run fat tires. There is a reason behind it.I can carve up curvey roads or just cruise on the highway. Its all about knowing your bike and how it handles.
exactly.... its always good to get ur bike set up for the rider... i prefer a wider tire because i know how it feels in the turns and what not so i get used to it... but when i went down a tire size, i personally didnt like it, more flickable yes but for my personal set up, i preferred the wider as opposed to the standard
